Power Speaks Louder Founder Recognized by Riverside County for Commitment to Underserved Communities
MORENO VALLEY, Calif., February 1, 2022 --- Power Speaks Louder was recognized by Riverside County Board of Supervisors and 5th district Chairman, Jeff Hewitt.
Power Speaks Louder (PSL), founded by B. Hunter, was recognized as a leading non-profit organization for Black History Month. PSL provides seven distinct programs and services to help youth in crisis, low-income families and the homeless. Its mission is to educate, empower, and transform the lives of those within local and global communities.
“This speaks about what you guys have accomplished,” said Riverside County 5th district Chairman, Jeff Hewitt. He went on to state “you’ve done a great job.” B. Hunter accepted her proclamation in the presence of PSL volunteers, family, friends, and local government officials. “Thank you for this proclamation”, said B. Hunter. She went on to share “many of the people standing here have contributed to our organization”.
Power Speaks Louder distributes an average of 10,000 pounds of food monthly to low-income families and the homeless community. In addition to food distribution, B. Hunter delivers interactive speaking engagements to various schools, events, organizations, and companies.

Established in July 2016, Power Speaks Louder has been dedicated to providing educational youth programs, social-emotional development, food outreach services, health and wellness resources, and creative arts to underserved communities. The “Who Cares, We Do” Street and Community Outreach programs provide food and essentials to assist low-income families and individuals without housing.
