Court Ordered Community Service Hours Policy
Power Speaks Louder welcomes individuals seeking to complete community service hours. To ensure a smooth process, please review our guidelines:
Service Hour Limits: The maximum number of community service hours we approve is 50 hours.
Advance Notice:
For requests of 50 hours, volunteers must notify us at least 2.5 months in advance to allow for scheduling and community service completion.
For requests of 25 hours or less, a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required before the hours are due.
Case Number Requirement: Volunteers must provide a case number before receiving approval to begin service.
Eligibility Restrictions: Power Speaks Louder is committed to creating a safe and positive environment. We do not accept volunteers with:
Offenses involving violence against children
Sexual offenses
We understand that each individual’s story is unique. Volunteers with non-violent or minor offenses may still be considered. Approval is granted at our discretion based on the nature of the offense and alignment with our mission.
