As a Content Creator for Power Speaks Louder (PSL), your primary responsibility will be to capture and create compelling visual content for our ongoing Community & Street Outreaches and the behind-the-scenes documentation of our upcoming Community Impact documentary.
Your role will involve planning and implementing multimedia storytelling projects that feature the lived experiences of our community, who have been affected by the pandemic in different ways. Specifically, the projects will highlight the impact on three distinct audiences: 1) local individuals and families, 2) the homeless population, and 3) at-risk youth.

Street Outreach: You will document the impact of our street outreach among the homeless and those who experienced emergency displacements due to the pandemic's effects.
Youth Empowerment Program: Your content will focus on speaking engagements that target teens suffering from anxiety, depression, and emotional trauma, including thoughts of suicide and more.
You will be responsible for:
25 hours minimum per week for the duration of 10 months (December, 2023 - October, 2024).
Video Production: Capture behind the scenes documentation of Community & Street Outreach recaps (IG Stories and Post) while working alongside of the Creative Director and Filmmaker for the “PSL Community Impact” documentary. This includes shooting, editing, and overlaying audio/soundbites to tell a compelling story.
Photography: Provide still shots of outreach events for bi-weekly recaps that inform and update our social media following along with acknowledging donations that are being used to serve the community at our events.
Understand Social Media Marketing: Utilize your knowledge of social media platforms and trends to optimize the visibility and impact of the content you produce. This involves tailoring the video and photography content to fit various social media channels, crafting engaging captions, and using relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience. Your understanding of social media marketing will play a vital role in amplifying the reach and engagement of our storytelling projects.
This position will last from December, 2023 to October, 2024. You will be working in key locations within Riverside County, where we typically engage with our target audiences.
