Power Speaks Louder Receives Grant from Riverside County Board of Supervisors
Moreno Valley, CA. April 7, 2022 — Power Speaks Louder receives $10,000 fund grant from Riverside County Board of Supervisors.
Riverside County Fifth District Supervisor, Jeff Hewitt, approved and presented Power Speaks Louder (PSL) with the American Rescue Plan Act Community Designation fund grant. The grant will enable PSL to continue providing essential services for Community and Street Outreach programs that serve low-income families and the homeless population in the Inland Empire.
“Power Speaks Louder is a phenomenal non-profit organization that truly values and respects the interest of our community,” said Mario Garai, Legislative Assistant to Jeff Hewitt. “Supporting their mission is a testament to Supervisor Hewitt’s commitment to the quality of life for residents in his district.”

About Fifth District Supervisor Jeff Hewitt
Jeff Hewitt was elected to the Board of Supervisors for Riverside County’s Fifth District in 2018. The Fifth District oversees Moreno Valley, Beaumont, Banning, Calimesa, Menifee, and Perris. In addition, he provides services to unincorporated communities, including but not limited to, Cherry Valley, Cabazon, Nuevo, and Desert Hot Springs. Jeff Hewitt has demonstrated a strong track record of resolving an array of community issues.

Established in July 2016, Power Speaks Louder has been dedicated to providing educational youth programs, social-emotional development, food outreach services, health and wellness resources, and creative arts to underserved communities. The “Who Cares, We Do” Street and Community Outreach programs provide food and essentials to assist low-income families and individuals without housing.
