Arrow is part of the Power Speaks Louder team, and she handcrafts keepsake journals layered with vintage portraits, crochet lace, tea-stained pages, embroidered florals and hidden pockets. When people started asking where they could get one, she donated her collection so every sale could support PSL.

How to photograph your piece
Good photos sell the piece. Here's all it takes.
Plain white background
A sheet of poster board or a white wall works great.
Natural daylight
Shoot near a window and turn off the flash.
Front first
One straight-on shot of the whole piece.
Show the details
Two or three close-ups of texture, the inside or special touches.
Show the size
One shot next to a hand or a ruler.
